Monica, BSN, RN (she/her/hers)

Monica began her Nursing journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2008. She received her Degree in Nursing in 2013 from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She has worked across the lifespan from birth to geriatrics in a variety of settings including, labor & delivery/postpartum for nearly a decade. She currently supervises and does home visits for our Maternal Child Home Visiting programs. Her career in public health began with an interest in women’s health and supporting young women who need confidential access to care in a community setting. She loves that public health allows her to build relationships and serve the community through prevention.
Monica is from western Washington and now lives in Oregon with her three children since 2019. She loves the beauty and adventure that Oregon has to offer!

Laura has worked for Linn County Public Health for 4 years. She started at the front desk as a Health Office Specialist and has recently transitioned to the Maternal Child Health Program. She primarily works with the Family Connects program and offers bilingual services in English and Spanish. She has worked with the community for over 20 years and she enjoys helping families with their needs by navigating resources and bridging the gaps.

Rebeca was born and raised in Mexico and relocated to the United States in 1988. She has worked at the Linn County Health Department for 21 years. Rebeca has worked in many different roles: as a Health Office Specialist, a Bilingual Health Aid, a Medical Assistant, and now as a Community Health Worker. Rebeca is a Qualified Health Interpreter and a Certified Community Health Worker. Rebeca is passionate about serving the community in both English and Spanish languages. She is also a Certified OHP Assister which allows her to help the community, especially pregnant women, apply for Oregon Health Plan insurance and make sure they get into prenatal care in their first trimester.
When not working, Rebeca loves spending time with her husband, her two children and two grandchildren. Her favorite activities are gardening, cooking, reading, listening to music and dancing.

Tania earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2018 and has been working as a Public Health Nurse ever since. Her first years in nursing were spent as a Charge Nurse Supervisor at an FQHC in Salem, Oregon, where she had the privilege of collaborating with other health-care professionals to offer high quality, compassionate care to traditionally underserved patient populations. Her previous degree in Early Childhood education, as well as her experience as a Doula and Childbirth Educator, eventually drew her to Linn County where she engages the perinatal community as a Nurse Home Visitor and Case Manager.
Growing up in rural Alaska instilled in Tania a first-hand knowledge of living with limited access to resources and health-care and she is passionate about mitigating those gaps for the people in her community. Also a bilingual speaker and dual citizen of the United States and Spain, Tania offers English and Spanish language service to the families that she serves, and brings with her a sensitivity of the vast importance of recognizing and honoring a person’s unique world-view and experience. When not working, Tania can be found traipsing about the state with her partner, her three children, and her two dogs. Together they enjoy hiking, rock-climbing, creating yummy things in the kitchen and international travel.

Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Oregon State University in 2016. She started her career as a Health Coach then spent time on working for the Samaritan Health Services. Then went on to work for the Linn County Health Department in 2020 as a Contact Tracer, Outreach Specialist and now a Community Alignment Specialist for Family Connects Program. She values empowering people to become health advocates for themselves.
When not working, Danielle enjoys propagating succulents, walking in nature and being with her family.

Courtney has worked for the Linn County Health Department for 7 years, starting in the billing department and recently transferring to the Public Health department as a CHW. She has worked in customer service and with the public for over 15 years.
When not working, Courtney enjoys the outdoors, going to Disneyland and spending time with family and her two dogs. She loves going to and watching Oregon Duck football games and Portland Trailblazer basketball games.

Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2019, following her Associate Degree in Nursing from Linn Benton Community College in 2015. Before joining our Maternal and Child Health Department in Public Health, she gained valuable experience in various nursing roles. Tiffany began her career working in pediatric and adolescent inpatient psychiatry at the Children’s Farm Home. She then transitioned to the Medical Surgical Unit at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where she worked for several years. Most recently, she served as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum nurse at Santiam Hospital and Clinics in the Birth Center.
With a deep passion for women and children’s health, Tiffany takes great pride in providing comprehensive postpartum and newborn education to families within our community.
Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys supporting her children in their personal pursuits and spending time outdoors.

Megan, BSN, RN (she/her/hers)

Megan is a Registered Nurse with 7 years of experience in critical care, interventional radiology, oncology, and postpartum nursing. She earned her BSN from Oklahoma Christian University and has developed a passion for maternal and child health, which drives her approach to patient care. Megan currently works with Babies First!, Oregon’s public health nurse home visiting program that supports families from pregnancy through a child’s fifth birthday. Through this program, she partners with families to improve health outcomes, identify needs, and provide vital resources and education. Megan’s nursing approach is grounded in strength-based, patient-centered care, focusing on empowering families through compassionate support. She is committed to helping people during their most vulnerable moments and ensuring they feel valued. Outside of nursing, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.

Liza received her Associates Degree in Nursing from the Oregon Coast College and is currently working towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. In addition, she brings over 10 years of experience as a Birth Doula and Licensed Massage Therapist, specialized in prenatal and postpartum bodywork.
Liza has a lifelong passion and dedication for supporting families to thrive during the perinatal period. Her strengths include providing prenatal support and birth preparation, walking alongside families postpartum, and supporting families in navigating perinatal loss and grief. She provides equitable, respectful, and empowering care that is trauma informed and focuses on strength building. She appreciates all the families she has had the honor of supporting and learning from. Liza finds great joy in being a Maternal Child Health Nurse and serving the perinatal families of this community.
Outside of work, Liza is a mother and can be found hiking on the forest trails with her family, surfing on the Oregon Coast, singing, dancing, and baking delicious treats.

Meghan is a compassionate and experienced nurse with a strong background in both emergency and public health nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2010, where she explored various facets of public health and worked as a doula supporting refugees in Baltimore. After graduating, Meghan transitioned to Emergency and Trauma nursing, where she has spent the past 12 years working in hospitals across the country
Upon returning to Oregon, Meghan felt a calling to return to her public health roots. She is passionate about empowering postpartum patients by providing care that helps them approach this critical period with confidence, kindness, and the knowledge they need to navigate their journey.
Outside of her professional life, Meghan enjoys exploring Oregon’s natural beauty with her husband and three boys, running through the forest, and unwinding with a good book.

Yulisa is a compassionate and bilingual registered nurse with over six years of experience in patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in 2022 following her Associate Degree in Nursing from Linn-Benton Community College in 2019.
Yulisa has a strong background in both labor and delivery and pediatric home health, where she has supported patients and families through some of life’s most personal and meaningful moments. Her ability to connect with patients across cultures and languages makes her an invaluable advocate in healthcare settings.
Passionate about her work, Yulisa is dedicated to delivering empathetic, high-quality care and values the privilege of being part of each family’s unique journey.

Pamela is a dedicated registered nurse with over 20 years of diverse experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. Her clinical background includes 8 years in inpatient nursing across multiple units, 8 years in emergency room triage, 2 years in public health, 2 years in home health, and experience working in community crisis care. Her broad expertise reflects a deep commitment to patient-centered care and community wellness.
Pamela earned her nursing degree through Nebraska Wesleyan University and Southeast Community College. She recently relocated to Oregon and is currently working part-time with the Linn County CaCoon Program, continuing her passion for supporting children and families with specialized healthcare needs.
Outside of work, Pamela enjoys spending time with friends and family and loves exploring the outdoors.

Toni earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University. She started her nursing career at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center as well as Benton County Health Services. She spent 20 years in Central Oregon working as a Maternal Child Health Nurse for Deschutes County Health Services as well as St Charles Medical Center. She has been supporting families with their breastfeeding goals as an IBCLC since 2012. In 2024 she became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, bringing a wonderful way for caregivers to soothe their babies. Maternal child health has been her heart work; Toni loves to support families in Linn County who have a newborn providing comprehensive postpartum and newborn education as a Family Connects Nurse.
Outside of work, Toni enjoys spending time with her 3 children and fur babies, drinking coffee, taking walks and being in nature.
