Mental Health Program Team
We serve people of all ages and walks of life.
From screening to treatment, we’ll work to help you feel better, do better, learn skills, and manage crises. When you’re going through changes or challenges, Linn County Health Services is here for you.
We provide a full range of evaluation and treatment services to county residents of all ages, both in person and through telehealth—including screening for eligibility, psychiatric services, and support from our medical team.
You can get in touch with us through our contact form, by phone, or in person at our walk-in clinic. Also, crisis services are available 24-7 at three area hospitals, the Linn County Jail, and the Linn County Juvenile Detention Facility.
What does our Medical Team do?
- Psychiatric assessment and medication management for adults and children currently enrolled in our programs.
- Consultation available to community physicians for occasional access for people otherwise not qualified to see us.
- Back-up emergency consultation to our Crisis Services Team.
- Evidence-based practice towards optimal effectiveness for the treatment of psychosis.
We strive for good communication with Primary Care Physicians around specific medical issues, such as diabetes monitoring, Hepatitis C sensitivity, and other concerns. We work with those with a co-occurring disorder. We also offer a variety of nursing services including medication administration and monitoring of health issues.
