Our Environmental Health Services staff work hard to prevent the spread of disease in our community through food, water, and other environmental exposures.
Facilities Licensing & Inspection
Our team is responsible to license and inspect facilities used by the general public to ensure that they are safe and sanitary. That includes facilities for food, pool & spa, lodging, and childcare.
Clean Water Systems
Drinking water, rivers, and septic systems—clean water is vital to a healthy community. We ensure that public water systems in Linn County consistently comply with requirements, and that our septic system is safe.
Solid Waste & Recycling
Our team manages solid waste collection and disposal franchises for rural Linn County, establishes standards for solid waste collection, disposal and recycling services, and recommends rates for services.
