Developmental Disabilities Program Team
Helping you choose and direct your own support.
Our mission is to support people with diverse needs in all stages of life, to help them pursue their dreams through self-advocacy and supported decision-making, and to empower them to live the life they choose. Motivated by the values of respect, equity, compassion, quality, and determination, we want you to live the life you want to live as a valued member of our community.
What does the Developmental Disabilities Team do?
The State of Oregon Department of Human Services contracts with counties or entities to provide a variety of services to individuals experiencing intellectual or developmental disabilities, through local Community Developmental Disability Program (CDDP). We are the program that serves Linn County.
Our program provides case management to children and adults who experience intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD.) People with developmental disabilities may need support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as communication, mobility, learning, self-help, and independent living. We connect consumers with resources that help them live healthy and productive lives regardless of their impairments.
The services we provide can include intake and eligibility determination, case management, access to residential and vocational services, in-home supports, transportation, and protective service response.
